Welcome to the Tuesday Baby Link Up!

One of the things I find so beneficial about this community is the way it challenges me to really flesh out my parenting intentions. For example, I’ve had a growing awareness of the frequency with which I ask my daughter to “wait a minute.” So, I loved this week’s featured post, below. And, the comments to the post really helped me solidify my intention to teach my daughter how to wait, rather than demand she grow her patience muscles without any exercise.
So, thank you so much for showing up here and sharing your own parenting intentions. I’m a better mama for it!

I’ve recently been examining both my own ability to wait and the frequency with which I ask my preschooler to do so. As I mentioned in the comments, I don’t think children grow in their ability to be patient by us demanding it from them. Instead, we teach them how to wait. I absolutely love Charise’s ideas for doing just that. I highly reccomend these 5 Things to Try Before Telling Your Child to Wait a Minute.
